- See floral items within our house collection including the Coalport dinner service, a book of hand drawn botanical sketches by a Victorian lady, plus wonderful examples of Pietra dura hardstone furniture, all full of vivid, floral beauty and evidence of the deep love of nature that permeates Hinton Ampner.

- Young visitors can rise to the challenge of our new floral themed spotter’s book.

...within the garden

- Our youngest visitors are offered a free, garden themed I-Spy game to play across the pretty gardens.

- Pay a visit to the potting shed, for an atmospheric peek into the world of a Hinton Ampner gardener.

- On 11 and 17 June during our summer open evenings, tour the gardens at dusk, enjoy your picnic and add to your gardening knowledge with free garden talks.

- Enjoy live jazz music in the garden on 23 and 25 June. Bring a picnic and take a garden tour with our Head Gardener.

...with outdoor theatre

- On 20 and 27 June, the garden plays backdrop to outdoor theatre as Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream arrives on fairy wings bringing magic, humour and mayhem!

Other

New this year – Featherstone Flowers brings a fresh take on the floral displays at Hinton Ampner, featuring peonies, delphiniums, foxgloves, sweet peas and much more all grown on their Hampshire flower farm. Created by their Stockbridge-based team with help from our National Trust volunteers, the displays continue a tradition loved by Ralph Dutton.
